Why this exists
Revolut publishes its RevPoints earn rates and plan fees clearly, and Flying Blue publishes the fact that RevPoints transfer to airline miles at a 1:1 ratio, but nowhere does either company actually answer the question people care about: given what I spend and which plan I am on, do the points I earn come anywhere close to covering my monthly fee? This calculator was built to answer exactly that, using each provider's own published numbers rather than guesswork.
How the numbers are sourced
- RevPoints earn rates and plan fees are based on one of Revolut's officially published regional rates pages, converted to your chosen display currency using live exchange rates where available. Revolut's real fees and earn rates vary by country, so treat this as a consistent, comparable baseline rather than your exact local pricing.
- The RevPoints to Flying Blue conversion ratio (1:1) is taken directly from Flying Blue's and Revolut's own published partner pages.
- Mile valuation estimates (the default 2.1 US cent "balanced" figure for Flying Blue, and the researched per-programme benchmark shown for every other airline programme) average The Points Guy's monthly valuations with One Mile at a Time's valuation guide where both cover a programme, and fall back to the best available specialised tracker where they do not. These are estimates, not guarantees — most of these programmes use dynamic or semi-dynamic award pricing, so actual redemption value varies by route, date, and cabin.
- Partner perk values reflect each partner service's own publicly listed standalone subscription price at the time of research, used only as a reference point for what you would pay if you subscribed independently.
- Exchange rates are fetched live where possible; if unavailable, the calculator falls back to a set of reference rates captured around late July 2026, clearly noting when this fallback is in use.
Independence
This is an independent, unofficial project. It is not built, sponsored, reviewed, or endorsed by Revolut, Flying Blue, Air France, KLM, Wise, or Curve, and none of those companies are responsible for its content or accuracy. Any trademarks, logos, or brand names referenced belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification and comparison purposes.

Affiliate relationships never change which numbers appear in the calculator itself; the maths is the same whether or not you use an affiliate link afterward.
Limitations, plainly stated
A few things this calculator deliberately does not claim to do:
- It does not reproduce your exact local Revolut pricing — it converts one region's published pricing into your chosen currency, which is a reasonable estimate but not a guarantee of your own country's actual fees.
- It cannot predict future Flying Blue award pricing for a specific flight, since Flying Blue uses fully dynamic pricing with no fixed chart.
- It assumes you would use the RevPoints for Flying Blue miles specifically; other RevPoints redemption options may offer different value.
- It is not financial advice. It is a decision support tool, and the final call on which card or plan suits you is yours.
